The MICRO STRONG RP was developed by Robson Peluquero in 2003, a time when “lights” were only heard when it came to hair. This name is due to the lightening effect that the light strands create in the hair.
However, many women wanted hair with an even higher percentage of light strands, and the only techniques that professionals used were wraps or caps. The difference between them is that using paper rolls gives more marked and defined results, while using the cap creates the effect of lights, or, when pulling more strands, the strands blend into each other and no definition can be seen.
That's when Robson Peluquero in his curiosity decided to scratch and mark a cap and pull the locks just according to his markings. He did this process a first time and noticed something different in the end result. He did it a second time and saw that he could still improve. He performed the procedure several times, perfecting the technique, until in 2010 he decided to call it STRONG. This word means “strong” in English, and gives the idea of ​​something that is remarkable. Robson then invested in marketing the technique and today it is used by hairdressers around the world.
